Ubisoft's hit strategic shooter will shortly introduce a variety of new content for gamers, such as two brand new playable Cheap R6 credits Operators, a greatly manicured map, along with other welcome changes.

Rainbow Six Siege has undergone praiseworthy development in its three decades on the market, emerging as one of today's top shooters. Despite its troubled origins in 2015, Ubisoft's commitment to reinvigorate its player base has proved successful, with its population reaching an all-time large in 2018.

Matt Brown, Windows Central games editor: Between rear in 2015 and today, what has changed regarding the Rainbow Six Siege development process? The general perception of Rainbow Six Siege, and what players expect, has clearly changed.

Craig Robinson, Ubisoft community developer: We have created a very firm commitment. I think we talked about it, we've demonstrated that using Operation Health, with the accession of BattlEye at [Operation] Skull Rain, things like that. So players, more than ever, will realize that we're likely to continue supporting Rainbow Six Siege for a while. 100 operators' goal is our players point out fairly often. We're encouraging Rainbow Six for quite a while.

The grade of the game has improved. Operation Health was a turning point for Rainbow Six Siege and it was a period in which we took a step back in the constant speed of releasing articles and required some time to [sort] the infrastructure and foundation of the game, in order to make sure that it's a game that could endure for a long time to come. And we are still reaping the benefits of Operation Health today, with the host enhancements we have implemented, the new processes we implemented on the development side. So I think that, combined with the fact we're speaking with our players all comes together, and gamers are trusting us not to bail on Rainbow Six Siege.

The guarantee of 100 Operators that are playable is a claim. Do you feel as it will end up overwhelming as you keep on balancing the roster? Even now, when you present a new Operator, there are balancing adjustments.

We actually produced a balancing group, so their sole focus would be the balancing of Operators. This was created to Lion being released in reaction. It is made up of a game designer, a information scientist, and a user researcher, and those three men, they work together to identify which operators need some alterations. Whether they want a buff, a nerf, in which that change needs to be Rainbow Six Siege Items executed, to make sure we get the desired result and don't affect how fun the operator is to perform -- and that is their mandate..
